We are a group of homeschool swimmers from North and South Carolina who came together in December 2017 to form Charlotte's first homeschool swim team and take a team to compete at the State Meet. Our team came away with two medals and some great swims and memories! This past year we completed our first full season and ended it with many medals at States including several state champs. Also, our girls team finished 2nd overall, and our boys finished 3rd overall. This will be our second full season. Our team is coached by adults, but also teens. We believe everyone can make a difference in the world, and we will give our swimmers as many opportunities as we can to develop and share their talents and passions. We also care about our community. This summer the Navigators participated for the second year in a row with other local teams at the Laps for Love Swimathon that raised over $75,000 for Charlotte Rescue Mission. It was an amazing night! Our team finished 2nd overall and we had Cullen Jones an Olympic Gold Medalist jump in and swim with us. We will continue this season to do more outreach. Swim can be an extremely demanding sport on the swimmers and the families. It requires intense training and many hours of practice. This team hopes to be a place where our swimmers can improve their skills and have the chance to race, but more than that, Navigators was started as a place to ENJOY the sport, CONNECT with other homeschoolers who share a love for swimming, have FUN, and create a SWIM FAMILY, not just a swim team. Thank you for choosing to join us on this new adventure. We have an amazing group of swimmers. The best is yet to come! Go Navigators! Joshua 1:9

Special thanks to Swim Mac for offering their facility as our team home for the season! Also to Gordon Fenn for dreaming big and making this dream a reality!
